The Full Celtic Experience!

Led by Ireland’s Michael Londra, “Beyond Celtic” offers a brilliant, live musical performance that recreates sounds from around the world with a unique Celtic twist. Different from any Irish musical performance released in the past, “Beyond Celtic” features Londra’s 16-piece Orchestra, Irish Legend Frankie Gavin and his Celtic "supergroup" De Dannan, the musical sisters of Sephira and some of the top Irish Dancers in the world. Together, these talents perform above and beyond deploying their full Celtic experience. Immerse yourself into one of the world’s most renowned musical cultures with “Beyond Celtic”.

“Beyond Celtic” is produced by Executive Producers Dr. Travis Fox and Brenda Markstein of MindFox Productions, LLC, Gustavo Sagastume of International Media, and Michael Londra, with Director Mark Lucas and Assistant Director Burke Doeren, and distributed by International Media. “Beyond Celtic” will be captured with a live audience at the historic California Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 19, 2011. The 1,700 seat theatre was the one of first places to screen King Kong and The Wizard of Oz, and one of the last places to host Will Rogers.

Michael Londra has been described as "one of the greatest Irish singers of our time." Since his breakthrough role as lead singer of Riverdance on Broadway, Londra has become one of the top international soloists. His recording of  “Danny Boy” is now regarded as “one of the best recordings in history”, with over 4 Million downloads on YouTube. Londra has been featured on the Universal Records Arias Ancora project with Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. He is the creator of Radiocelt, one of the top ten international radio stations as well as producer and star in the touring Irish show “Celtic Fire”. And if that wasn't impressive enough, he is also an ambassador for Concern Worldwide.

Frankie Gavin is one of the genuine legends of Irish music. Known as the “Prince of Irish Fiddlers,” Gavin is founding member and bandleader of the internationally acclaimed traditional supergroup, De Dannan. The current De Dannan ensemble, now known as 'Frankie Gavin & De Dannan', is led by Gavin on fiddle, flutes & whistles with Damien Mullane on the accordion, Eric Cunningham on percussion, flutes & whistles, Mike Galvin on bouzouki and guitars, and Michelle Lally on vocals. They have performed with the Rolling Stones and the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra in tours across the USA and China.

‘Sephira’ is a young Irish act comprising sisters Joyce and Ruth O'Leary, who both play the violin and provide vocals. They released their debut album Believe in 2006. The combination of the sisters' vocals and violins is the essence of the ‘Sephira’ sound, which is largely classical/crossover with traditional Irish influences. Their talents were noticed by Sharon Browne, creator of Celtic Woman who asked the ladies to join PBS sensations, ‘Celtic Thunder’ on their national tours in 2009.

“Beyond Celtic” will take you on a journey beyond your seat and into the heart of the Ireland’s musical culture...
