In 1985, two Belgian students created the first "Night Of The Proms", matching classical music and pop artists from around the world. The unique "Classic meets Pop" formula was a huge success that grew in popularity year by year. Word spread about the extraordinary mix of evergreen hits and the concerts expanded from country to country.  Today Night of the Proms encompasses 40 annual concerts in Belgium, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Luxembourg, that host nearly half a million enthusiastic guests.   

 

Each season, Night Of The Proms features a new array of outstanding artists. 

 

Andrea Bocelli credits Night Of The Proms as helping launch his unparalleled career. Over the years, Sting, David Garrett, Donna Summer, Meat Loaf, James Brown, UB40, Blondie’s Deborah Harry, Robert Daltrey, Pointer Sisters, Tears for Fears, Joe Cocker, Sinead O’Connor, Bryan Ferry, Shaggy, Alan Parsons Project, Boy George, Toto, Robin Gibb, Chrissie Hynde, Michael McDonald, John Fogerty, Art Garfunkel, INXS, Foreigner, Grace Jones and scores of other first-class performers have joined Il Novecento’s full orchestra and Fine Fleur Choir to bend artistic boundaries and create the high energy, completely original musical spectacle that is exclusively “NotP."
